Pam Reinders

Pam Reinders joined GW Pre-Professional Advising in November 2023. As a Pre-Health Advisor, she supports undergraduate students and alumni pursuing careers in medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine, physician assistant studies, nursing, and other health professions. With nearly 20 years of experience in education, advising, and instructional design, she provides individualized guidance on academic planning, experiential learning, professional development, and the application process. Pam is passionate about helping students navigate complex decisions and develop the knowledge, skills, and confidence needed to achieve their goals.

Prior to joining GW, she supported pre-health students in the private sector as a faculty member, manager, trainer, and program director, focusing on a wide range of STEM subjects and admissions test preparation. Her background in biology and educational technology has shaped an evidence-based, learner-centered approach to advising and teaching that empowers students while emphasizing effective decision-making and competency development. She values curiosity, empathy, and self-awareness, and believes that every interaction presents an opportunity to learn, grow, and serve others.

Pam grew up in northern Virginia. She enjoys bubble tea, action movies, and comedy podcasts. She lives in Arlington with her spouse and two kids.
