AMCAS (Allopathic Medical School- MD): The AMCAS application will open on May 3rd for students to begin working on the application and the first day to submit will be May 27th. AMCAS will send all verified applications to medical schools for the first time on June 25th. We recommend working on your application early and submitting as close to that May 27th date as possible so there are no delays with verifying your application. Look at the full AAMC Calendar.
AACOMAS (Osteopathic Medical School- DO): The AACOMAS application will open on May 3rd (projected) for students to begin working on the application and students may submit anytime after that. AACOMAS will send all verified applications to medical schools for the first time on June 15th (projected). We recommend working on your application early and submitting by the end of May so there are no delays with verifying your application.
For HPAC Applicants: Our goal is to have your committee letter packets uploaded to your applications as close to the June 15th first transmission deadline as possible so they are included when medical programs review your applications for the first time. We will send communication throughout the spring with updates. When creating your letter requests for these applications, please select "committee letter". Please use the name of the pre-health advisor that you meet with for your HPAC follow-up when creating your letter request and [email protected] for the contact information.
